Sennheiser has completely overhauled the design, abandoning the retro-industrial metal yokes of the Momentum 3 for a more streamlined, modern silhouette. While it might fall *just* short of the absolute vacuum-like silence created by the Bose QuietComfort Ultra in highly chaotic environments (like a busy café), it performs exceptionally well and, crucially, doesn't alter the sound signature when engaged.

Transparency mode is equally impressive, utilizing the dual beamforming microphones to pipe in external sounds naturally. You can easily hold a conversation without removing the headphones, and it doesn't suffer from the robotic, digitized hiss common in cheaper models.

Battery Life: The Undisputed King

This is the Momentum 4's trump card. Sennheiser claims up to 60 hours of playback time with ANC turned on via Bluetooth. In our testing, playing audio at 60% volume, we clocked an astonishing 63 hours. This means a daily commuter could easily go three to four weeks without needing to plug in. For comparison, the Sony WH-1000XM5 and Bose QuietComfort max out at around 30 and 24 hours, respectively.

When it finally does die, a quick 5-minute charge via USB-C provides up to 4 hours of listening time.
